A Birthday Celebration to support the launch of the new theatre in 2009.

In order to raise funds for the relocation of our theatre we aim to sell an additional 1000 seats for the Summer Festival 2008.  We are asking audience to book for one extra show this summer – perhaps one you would not normally come to – but in doing so you will direct help us to carry the theatre into a new era, whilst we hope enjoying an entertaining summer’s evening out. 

To help we have made 1000 side tier seats available for the special price of £10 (plus VAT);

500 in July for Noel Coward’s Private Lives, or The Pirates of Penzance, and 500 in August for A Midsummer Night’s Dream by William Shakespeare, Mozart’s Cosi fan Tutte. 

The offer is subject to availability and will end once the allocation of seats at this amazing price have been sold.

The Green Room Theatre Company present - Letters from Luvvies

Letters from Luvvies is a selection of letters and anecdotes from many famous luvvies, Shakespeare, Oscar Wilde, Shaw, Ellen Terry, Noel Coward, Monroe, Dietrich, Richard Burton and many more.
As diverse as the authors, the programme is witty, amusing sometimes poignant and of course, theatrical.  It promises to be an entertaining evening with additional music provided by The Ashgrove Duo and piano

Tickets are £15, £12 and £10 for centre, side inner, and side outer tier seats respectively.

Jazz Concert, 29th June 2008

Following the sad passing of Humphrey Lytellton, we can confirm that The Big Chris Barber band will be performing at Hever on Sunday 29th June.  Thanks to Chris Barber and his band, and jazz agent Jack Higgins for their support in making this possible.
Audience booked to see Humph were contacted earlier this month and tickets may be refunded if returned before the end of the May 2008; allowing sufficient time for resale.

Birthday Bashes

A reception on the terrace overlooking the lake has been arranged for Saturday 28th June
Plus there is chance to participate in The Humming Chorus during the evening.

There is a three-course meal in the Castle before the Concert on Saturday 23rd August, with coffee, mints and nightcaps organised for the end of the evening.
